Author Gene Gurganus and his late wife, the former Elizabeth English, are from Rocky Mount, NC. The Gurganuses served seventeen years as pioneer, church-planting missionaries in Bangladesh. For twenty years, Dr. Gurganus travelled widely serving as a mission representative conducting missionary conferences specializing in the area of Faith Promise Giving. He often speaks on the subject of Islam and is the author of The Peril of Islam—Telling the Truth. He has authored nine books. At present, Dr. Gurganus serves as the North American Representative of Vision 20/20 Asia.
